SHOOTING THE TROUBLED WATERS
Mad waves
rustling at the peace of the shore,
Tempered waters
arguing with the angry wind.
A marriage of
inconvenience hits the sands,
And comes with
the remembrance that the sea is wild.
So too is the
silence that greets a lonely bed,
A place of
solace where once the soul had blessed.
Till the
shrieking scream of silence lays bare,
And we remember
death has come and will always come again.
Slowly
remembrance lays with the truth,
We could see
that there will always be an end.
When the runner
will hastily find his end,
As death accepts
us all.
We shoot the
troubled waters of time,
Seeking to find
what’s left of our fears.
Little bullets
of vanity till we fatefully learn,
That
time never dies; it’s we the people who do
