BALLAD OF A LOVER WHO NEVER FOUND LOVE

BALLAD OF A LOVER WHO NEVER FOUND LOVE
I wanted to tell a story so dear,
Its plot was quote for reason, stop and please hear.
When love is in season so full and so clear,
I remember a lover whose love was so dear ..
His love was a wonder controlled by the world,
Each step a note and relic for what sights he would pay.
But a little daydreamer he was in the world,
The demons that held him he never could say.
Fateful desire, caught his heart as he walked,
A glimmer of sunshine, glow wrapped in a suit.
He stared with the queens and looked as they talked,
Till sunset brought night and nightmares to soothe.
As dreams and dreamers often stared,
For mornings and beginnings of futures unknown.
So the portrait was gracefully paired,
With melodies and words which were known.
So lover sang the song of strongest delight,
Consumed by the admiration of her piercing smile.
Truth revealed, thrust upon light,
When burning embers cast doubt upon a laugh.
The object of love gleaning through the woods,
Of life’s ever winding play.
Smiling with the eye of the mist,
About a love that was never there.
His eyes the peril of distant lovers,
All the care drifting in showers.
Reality sweetly cowers,
The moments of his unloved hours.
A lover who has never found love,
Was his name placed on our lips.
By loving but never knowing love,
He earned a ballad and stripes.
The ballad of a lover who never found love,
Is a song for lovers who never say the words!
The silence of their feeling relapsing,
To chains of feelings that are unsaid.
