Can we tarry a little longer?

Breathe a little easier

Chase what our hearts

Could never understand

Could your arms come a little closer?

Open a little wider

Serenade my uncertain heart

With its warmth

Could your lips move gently?

Glide towards me softly

Till I can feel

The sweetness that they give

Would you smile a little bit more?

Laugh without the jokes

Light up my life

 With your calming beauty

Could you be the one?

That everyone hoped will come all along?
